What Happens in the Notes Boost?
A Notes Boost provides our community with the opportunity to support each other by liking, restacking, and commenting on each other’s Notes.
This week Notes Boosts begins on Good Friday! (April 18, 2025 at 7 AM MT-April 20, 2025 at 7 PM MT.)
1️⃣ Drop a Note in the comments using the following format.
THEME/SUBJECT (i.e. MENTAL HEALTH/LONELINESS)
Below the first line, include the text of your note along with its link. This streamlines the process.
2️⃣ Choose at least 5 other Notes in the thread that appeal to you. Follow that link to restack, like, and leave a meaningful comment. Let the writer know you’ve shared, liked, and/or restacked in the thread.
FOLLOW THE LINK to engage in Notes Amplified. (Scroll beyond the first Boost.)
Key Considerations
Engagement is Key
Substack Notes Boosts are about genuine engagement, not passively liking and restacking without reading the content.
Focus on Notes, Not Posts
Restacks of posts (which are more akin to newsletters) don't yield as much engagement as interacting with Notes.
Visit a Couple of Times
Check into the thread on a different day or later during the Boost to support other writers and connect with content that appeals to you.
Avoid Sales
Avoid using Notes Boosts to promote courses, products, or other sales pitches. This is less likely to be successful on Substack (at least right now.)
Let’s amplify your God-given message!
Peace and grace,
Tammy
Jesus
“In Him I have an offering, an altar, a temple, a priest, a sun, a shield, a Savior, a Shepherd, a hiding place, a resting place, food, medicine, riches, honor, wisdom, righteousness, holiness, in short, everything.” – John Newton
This quote brings me to tears because of the incredible truth of Newton’s words. In Jesus, we really do have all that we need.
Faith in God
What an incredible gift from God. This God given faith gives me the grounds to obey HIM when I would otherwise be saying "No ways, that makes no sense, I want to do this my way!"
Jesus was such a wonderful example, remember when he said to His Father "Not my will but Your will be done" ?? - In the agony and anguish of this moment, Jesus believed that God's plan was better than any other - - -
Oh Lord Help me to walk like you walked !!
